What others are saying

Digital Rescue is a multi-room sci-fi game in which players jump between the real world and a video game to rescue a friend who has been pulled inside it. It is one of the better-received INBLACK rooms, and even experienced players who are usually lukewarm on the company came away impressed.

Reviewers on Morty praise the creative mix of virtual and physical puzzles, elements they hadn’t seen in other rooms, and puzzles that make sense and are often funny. They also like that several players can (and must) work together at once, and they mention friendly, enthusiastic staff. Google reviewers call it a fun, non-horror option that suits beginners and mixed groups, with several rooms and a variety of puzzle types, including mechanical ones. A player on Reddit found the setting very immersive, and travel writer Ron Bauman described the game as an elaborate switchboard of connecting the path to success.

The main complaints on Morty are a long upfront briefing from the host that gives away a lot about what to do, and a lack of polish typical of INBLACK, with props that feel dusty, homemade or worn. Some reviewers found it quite linear, better suited to smaller experienced groups, and occasionally frustrating if you refuse hints. Bauman’s group also ended up needing more help from their host than they wanted.
