Review of "Sherlock's Library" at Mystery Room

Holmes is investigating a series of jewelry thefts that have targeted the English gentry.  He is preparing to play his violin, which he insists helps him think clearly while sending John Watson to investigate the offices of an accountant favored amongst the aristocracy. Holmes, fearful of discovery, gives Watson strict instructions to only note what he finds and where and not to remove items from any of the files. Watson is just pleased to be away from 221b while Holmes plays!

Sherlock’s Library has been retired. Morty lists the room as permanently closed and says the venue (Escape the Mystery Room at the Walden Galleria, later rebranded as All In Adventures Buffalo) is no longer operating. All In Adventures still offers a tabletop Sherlock’s Library game through its Buffalo-area Mobile Mystery program, but that is a portable event format rather than the original room.

Room-specific feedback is thin. Player ratings on Morty describe the reception as mixed: positive about customer service but negative about the gameplay and atmosphere. A short written review there called it a simple room with a fun premise, with lots of props and puzzle items to keep track of.
