What others are saying

A 90-minute, Rusty Lake–inspired narrative horror room with a live actor, generally well liked by fans of spooky rooms.

Reviewers on Morty praise the play-like storytelling, the detective work, the blackouts and sound effects and the actor, and appreciate that it’s friendly to groups of two, which is unusual for an actor room. Escapewhere calls it one of the scariest escape rooms in the Toronto area, with sustained atmosphere and an actor who lifts the immersion.

Several Morty reviewers had tech glitches where correct answers didn’t register, note a linear flow in a smallish space, and question the value at its price. Escapewhere adds that puzzles sometimes take a back seat to atmosphere and that it may be too intense for some.
