We need your assistance in finding their precise locations to alert the allies. Rendezvous at the undercover lab to get started. Carry out your duty with pride, and let’s put an end to those undersea threats once and for all!

What others are saying

Escape from the Tower is still running at Casa Loma. Enthusiast bloggers and regular players broadly agree that the setting is the star: you’re playing inside one of the castle’s real towers, climbing up level by level as the story moves along. The Room Escape Artist blog called it a must-play in Toronto’s crowded escape room scene.

The live actors get the most praise. ESCAPETHEROOMers called them the highlight, noting they stay in character while dropping subtle hints, and players on Morty enjoyed the actors’ good-natured teasing. Reviewers also liked the large, non-linear puzzles that several people can work on at once, the mix of tech and hands-on puzzles with very few padlocks, and a finale that pulls the whole group together. One Morty player was pleasantly surprised at how hands-on the game is, given that it’s set in a museum.

The most common criticism is that the puzzles themselves are fairly standard. The EscapeRumors blog found some of them common and “a bit of a chore,” and Morty players said the puzzles weren’t the most original, even though the atmosphere carried the experience. After the game moved to the castle’s other tower, Room Escape Artist found the new opening act in the barracks search-heavy and full of red herrings. Because it’s a public booking for a big group, some people can end up standing around while others finish puzzles. There are also plenty of stairs, including a narrow staircase during the game.
