What others are saying

Heist at the Nine-Nine is still running, though Trivia Escape rotates its themes, and its website mentions a “Heist 2.0” coming in fall 2026. There aren’t many reviews out there, but the ones we found are positive, especially from Brooklyn Nine-Nine fans.

Fans enjoy the decor and Easter eggs pulled straight from the show, plus the show’s music playing in the background. A highlight for Morty reviewers was earning hints by answering trivia, including bonus hints for naming the episode a song comes from. One player called it one of the more unique games they’d played. A TripAdvisor reviewer said the staff quiz your team before you start to set the difficulty, and a teammate who had never watched the show could still help with every puzzle. The host also gets credit for being friendly and helpful.

The main drawback is polish. Morty reviewers described the room as homemade and a bit worn down compared to newer escape rooms, and one mentioned some damaged set pieces. The puzzles are mostly mechanical rather than high-tech, and the trivia ranges from easy to tough, so knowing the show beyond the basics helps. One reviewer noted parking is limited.
