Review of "Kraken Casino" at Deerhurst Escape Rooms

Kraken Casino is set in a steampunk era, and it is up to you and your family, who are members of “The Resistance”, to find and destroy an electrical power source before it can destroy the world. You will be playing a number of casino type games such as roulette and blackjack to achieve this goal.

What others are saying

Kraken Casino is a steampunk-themed cabin at Deerhurst Resort where teams play casino-style games such as roulette and blackjack to shut down a dangerous power source. It plays differently from the venue’s more traditional puzzle cabins.

A Tripadvisor reviewer described it as more of a timed skill-testing experience than a classic escape room, so it may appeal to groups who like playing games against the clock rather than working through a chain of locks.

The main complaint comes from a Google reviewer whose game was derailed by a mechanism that didn’t work, leaving the group unable to progress; the venue offered a refund or discount afterwards. Players expecting a conventional run of logic puzzles may prefer one of the other cabins.
