Review of "Mindshaft" at Escape Games Canada

Assemble a team of mighty heroes to challenge a fearsome demon. Hop into the “hellevator” and descend into a cursed mine where the demon’s trials await. You’ll need all your wit and endurance to prove yourself; a series of mental and physical challenges will test your skill.

What others are saying

Mindshaft is a physical fantasy adventure that plays more like a real-life video game than a traditional escape room. Reviewers on Morty and the Escape the Roomers blog enjoy it for being different.

Morty reviewers call it fun and unique, praise the mineshaft-style entrance and say it is great for groups of four or five and for families. Escape the Roomers highlighted the “hellevator” descent, the physical trials and the boss battle.

On the downside, Morty reviewers say the stages get repetitive, it is easier than the venue’s other games, and one room is showing its age. Some were unsure whether to recommend it to players looking for a typical escape room, and reviewers advise proper footwear.
