The Ark

After a large earthquake, a signal of unknown origin started to broadcast from the ocean floor. The company you work for has managed to procure a specially made bathysphere which will allow you and your team to travel to the abyss below. Will your team complete the mission and return safely to the surface, or will the dangers of the ocean drown any hopes of success?

What others are saying

The Ark is an underwater bathysphere expedition with several possible endings. Reviewers on Morty, Room Escape Artist, the We Try To Escape blog and Google reviewers are generally impressed, especially by the set.

We Try To Escape called the set design stunning, with many rooms to explore and multi-step puzzles tied closely to the story. Room Escape Artist praised the excellent opening sequence and its surprising reveal, as well as layered puzzles that need coordinated teamwork. Google reviewers highlight the production value and puzzles that are challenging without being frustrating, and Morty reviewers praise the props, tech and engaging physical interactions.

The most common complaint is space: Morty reviewers say it gets cramped beyond about four players, and Room Escape Artist found the lack of room a continual issue. Room Escape Artist also found the story hard to follow and the final sequence deflating. Some Morty reviewers felt the multiple endings were oversold, and one warned that several colour-based puzzles make it a poor fit for colour-blind players.
