We have not yet completed a review of Mystery Store at INBLACK Escape Room in Toronto. We hope to experience this room soon.

What others are saying

Mystery Store is a 90-minute, story-driven magic-shop room at INBLACK’s Eaton location, with mixed reviews.

Blogger Steffie Davis, who was invited to play, felt the puzzles were woven into the environment, with each solve triggering lights, hidden screens or new rooms, and found the second room wonderfully detailed. Reviewers on Morty also praise the immersive shop set and the story.

On the downside, Steffie Davis found some sensors finicky and could hear screams from the horror room next door, while Morty reviewers mention broken props, slow sensors and translation errors. Both note that the backstory centres on suicide, which some players may find upsetting.
