What others are saying

Wizard’s Initiation is a wizarding-school train adventure and Exitus’s most family-friendly room. Most reviewers enjoy it, though several mention tech hiccups.

Google reviewers rave about the Harry Potter-style design and the dress-up photo at the end, and two mention staff giving their families extra help or time to finish. Tripadvisor reviewers say it’s a hit with young kids. On Morty, players call it different from other wizard rooms, with a great set and rewarding puzzles, and many praise the game masters.

The main complaints on Morty concern the tech. Wands didn’t always work, batteries died and one puzzle needed a staff reset. Some players also note that most puzzles end in combination locks, the final section felt unintuitive, and a few puzzles favour Harry Potter fans. One group that played on the hardest level felt it hurt the game’s flow and found the audio directions unclear.
