The Wrath of Amun Ra

You and your team have one hour to enter the Ancient Temple of Ramesses and lift the curse. Armageddon is near as the doomsday clock starts ticking!”

What others are saying

The Wrath of Amun Ra is still running at The Imaginarium, which has moved from North York to Scarborough. Players generally like it a lot, especially for its looks, but several enthusiasts consider it the easiest and least exciting of the company’s rooms.

The set is the star. The Escape the Roomers blog was amazed by how much space it covers and how each area gets grander than the last, and praised the high-quality props, puzzles that fit the story, and large puzzles that let everyone get involved. They found nothing to fault and felt it would suit beginners and enthusiasts alike. Players on Morty described a massive, carefully built tomb with great sound design, very few locks, good flow and friendly owners.

On the other hand, some Morty reviewers called it a fairly standard Egyptian temple game without real “wow” moments, with fewer puzzles and less creativity than The Imaginarium’s other rooms. A notable warning: several puzzles rely on colour, and one colour-blind player had to sit out of a few of them, so it may not suit colour-blind players.
