Reviewers on Morty praise the immersive atmosphere (one was impressed by how the study appears to overlook a tiny alleyway), the large number of varied, non-linear puzzles and the magical tech effects, and several recommend it for families. We Try To Escape loved the décor, including one element they had never seen before, along with the surprising transitions between rooms and the game master’s in-person introduction, and suggests it suits groups of four.

The difficulty is high, and We Try To Escape found the flow occasionally uneven, with a few clues that needed clarification and a story lacking a real twist. On Morty, one player found some writing illegible and another hit a prop that didn’t light up, while a third felt the story was low-stakes and the soundtrack repetitive.
