The Extraction
“A secret intelligence agency has taken over your elevator and tasked your group of regular, plainclothes civilians with a mission. You’re being sent deep underground to investigate the labs of an evil weapons corporation who have been making dangerous and unexplainable advancements that threaten the safety of humanity.
Your mission: get in, grab the intel and get out without detection. Be careful and keep your wits about you - not everything is as it seems…“

What others are saying
The Extraction, Crypto’s spy mission, is well received by enthusiast bloggers. The Room Escape Artist blog counts it among the best rooms in the Toronto area and praised how well Crypto blends story, gameplay and set.
One blog singled out the moving-elevator opening as a highlight, and the Room Escape Artist blog loved a surprising twist that’s delivered with restraint. Reviewers point to strong storytelling through the environment, top-notch set design and atmosphere (even the hallways are themed), and puzzles that are logical, satisfying and worked smoothly.
The main criticism is repetition: later in the game, one core puzzle mechanic is reused several times, which can wear thin if you don’t enjoy that type of puzzle. Another blog found the frequent story interruptions slowed the momentum of this linear room, and felt its look was a little too similar to Crypto’s Below Zero.
