Shut Down
In the year 2076, the Frost Corp dominated the world. They had used the “Frost Queen” system to infiltrate every pixel, claiming it was for freedom and protection. However, their unethical sale of personal data has sparked outrage and also rebellion.
As a member of the rebellion known as “The Defiance,” your mission is to infiltrate the Frost Corp, upload the Defiance virus directly into the root of the Frost Queen, and shut it down once and for all!

What others are saying
Shut Down opened in 2017, when Omventure was still called OMescape, and was designed as a beginner-friendly, high-tech room. It’s generally well liked, though one puzzle near the end gets a lot of complaints.
Reviewers mostly praise the production and the tech. The Escape Games Review blog called the set “top notch”, almost like living through a movie, with lots of interactive tech puzzles and feedback that kept frustration low. They thought it would make a great introductory escape room. Players on the Morty app enjoyed the technology and called it a great team-building room. A TripAdvisor reviewer said it was a whole lot of fun and that the hints weren’t too obvious.
The most common complaint is the final puzzle. Several Morty players called it confusing or non-intuitive and suggested just accepting that you’ll probably need a hint. A reviewer on ReleaseRooms felt some puzzles were harder than the room’s beginner-friendly label suggests, though they praised the friendly staff, who explained the puzzles afterward. At the other end, experienced enthusiasts at Escape Games Review found it too easy. One section also requires crawling, but players said there’s a workaround.
