What others are saying

Players describe The Red Admiral as the toughest room at Omventure’s Scarborough location (formerly OMescape). It’s very well regarded by enthusiasts, who praise its production values and challenging but fair puzzles.

The Escape Games Review blog described it as a high-production room: a big space with many different kinds of challenges, strong audio and visual effects that build suspense, and impressive moments at the start and finish. Players on the Morty app said the room kept surprising them, and called the props and tech immersive. They found the puzzles hard but logical rather than reliant on leaps of logic, and said it works well for team building because many puzzles need cooperation.

The most common caution is difficulty: reviewers said it would be hard for inexperienced teams. Players also mentioned low lighting that makes some text and symbols hard to read. Some reported occasional technical hiccups, such as a lever not working, a walkie-talkie running out of batteries, or an incorrect hint. One TripAdvisor reviewer said a keypad accepted their correct code without opening the door, which cost them a lot of time, and felt staff brushed off their concerns. For accessibility, Morty players noted stairs, nowhere to sit, and a crawling section with a workaround.
